Studies on the Cailleach with Doireann Ní Ghlacáin

October 26

An evening of music and storytelling with Doireann Ní Ghlacáin

Studies on the Cailleach is a debut solo show from traditional musician, sean nós singer and storyteller, Doireann Ní Ghlacáin. This performance reimagines the Cailleach (Goddess of Winter), incorporating traditional music, song and stories to explore contemporary Irish womanhood. Doireann guides audiences through an hour of spellbinding reflection and musical ritual. As the Cailleach retreats to sleep, we, too, are called to listen more deeply to the unseen.

About Doireann Ní Ghlacáin
