Conservation of the Victorian Walled Gardens with John O’Driscoll

Join General Manager John O’Driscoll on Tuesday August 18th at 11am for a guided walking tour of the Victorian Walled Garden’s, Strokestown Park as part of National Heritage Week.
Discover the history of the gardens, the layers of conservation work taking place, along with the extensive restoration works.
John O’Driscoll the current General Manager of Strokestown Park, who began his career in Strokestown Park as Head Gardener, qualified through the National Botanic Gardens. John is leading an extensive three year plan for our Heritage Garden.
Register on arrival at the main Strokestown Park Visitor Centre Reception, from here you will be guided to the Walled Gardens.
There is an small admission fee of €5 for this tour, with all proceeds going directly towards the on-going care of Strokestown Park.
