Potato People – A Story of the Irish Famine in Clay

Live audience with sculptor Joe McCaul, creator of the sculpture exhibition ‘Potato People’, which is on display at the National Famine Museum until the end of August. Joe will talk about the motivation behind the creation of this emotive work. He will also explain how the pieces were created using the traditional Japanese Raku firing method. The talk will happen in our new Vaulted Stables Event and Exhibition Space where the work is on display.

Entry to this once-off event is included with all Famine Museum Tickets issued on this day or free for members.
