Seachtain Na Gaeilge performance

Join us for a magical evening of music and poetry led by acclaimed folk singer/songwriter Emma Langford who will share the stage with ‘Lifting The Gate’ a bilingual spoken word and storytelling piece performed by Ben Mac Caoilte accompanied by Harp and Fiddle strings drawing on the oldest bardic tradition of poetry and harp, the perfect way the celebrate Seachtain Na Gaeilge.
A beautiful evening celebrating Seachtain Na Gaeilge invites the audience to relax into the well of memory, as Erin Lalor reveals impossibly detailed worlds in tight verses wrapped in warm strings.
Emma Langford is fast becoming a household name as a firm feature of the Irish folk and songwriter scene. Storytelling and wit sit at the heart of all she does; interweaving her live performances, and shining through her works. Langford’s is an inimitable, dreamy voice on the frontline of a new wave of Irish folk.
