The National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park offers a range of group visit options, all of which can be tailored to individual interests, schedules and catering requirements.
We regularly welcome private groups, school tours, and tour parties to Strokestown Park to enjoy the grandeur of the big house, discover the parallel lives of landlord and tenants at the National Famine Museum, and wander through the estate’s beautiful gardens and woodlands.
Our Woodland Café is also a lovely setting for morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea!
Strokestown Park House Tour
Guided (approximately 60 minutes)
A guided one-hour tour will introduce you to the house, its characters, and its dramatic tales as well as a host of untouched original features, furniture and many, many treasured objects!

Our Woodland Café team can offer a variety of catering options for your group, including morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea, and drinks receptions. We feature fresh local produce whenever possible, some of which is produced here on the Strokestown Park Estate.
A selection of mementoes, gifts, and cards are also available for purchase, in the Strokestown Park gift shop, which adjoins the café.
Coach Parking for Group Tours
There is ample complimentary coach parking available in the Strokestown Park House, Gardens & National Famine Museum car park. Parking for mini-buses and cars is also available free-of-charge.
