Join Strokestown Park Curator, CIara Mc Cormac for a talk on built heritage and the many risks faced by our historic built environment as part of National Heritage Week.
Explore the risks that our built heritage is exposed to today? What happens if we lose this evidence of the past? What can be done to protect our historic buildings and monuments?
This talk about Heritage at Risk will take place in the Vaulted Stables at Strokestown Park on Saturday 22nd August, 12.30pm.
Register on arrival at the main Strokestown Park Visitor Centre Reception, from here you will be guided to the Vaulted Stables, Event Space.
There is an admission fee for this talk, with all proceeds going directly towards the on-going care of Strokestown Park.
