Art Workshops with our Artist in Residence, Olena Kovalevych

Strokestown Park is delighted to host a course of Art Workshops by our Artist in Residence, Olena Kovalevych, this July. Olena is a Ukrainian artist and art teacher who specialises in the traditional Petrykivka folk-art style, native to her region in Eastern Ukraine.

She will teach the basics of this highly decorative art style over a four-week course, with one class per week.

We are offering separate courses to children (8 to 16 years old accompanied by a participating adult) and adults only.

• Each course will take place over four Saturdays in July – on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd of July.
• A child with participating Adult classes will take place between 12 pm and 2 pm.
• Adult Only classes will take place between 3 pm and 5 pm.
• Classes are suitable for beginners.

A booking fee of €80 for each course.

• Childrens’ Courses : Price of €80 covers admission for one child (8 to 16 year olds) plus one participating adult only. Additional children can be added by purchasing an additional €80 ticket.
• Adult Only Courses: Price of €80 covers admission for one adult.
• All art materials are included in the cost.
